Continental Mills (now Krusteaz following a rebranding in 2022) is an iconic 3rd generation Seattle family business. Join us with Andy Heily (CEO and 3rd generation family) and Rob Dilworth (non-family CFO) for an inspirational and informational walk through 70+ years as a family business. We will cover a wide variety of topics with Andy sharing his candid perspectives on what they have done well, and what they have learned over the years related to family succession, family shareholder alignment, business transformation, and the trade-offs in building vs. optimizing through high growth periods. Rob, an accomplished former Starbucks executive who joined him in 2020, and Andy will also share their experiences and learnings from the past 3 years in working together to drive substantial transformation in the family business, including how to effectively integrate non-family leadership and advice to position the family and the business for the next level of growth.
